* Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger released the following statement today regarding the state Supreme Court’s ruling on same-sex marriage:

“I respect the Court’s decision and as Governor, I will uphold its ruling. Also, as I have said in the past, I will not support an amendment to the constitution that would overturn this state Supreme Court ruling.”

Celebration of Love and Family

Today, the California Supreme Court will rule on the California marriage case, calling on the state to end its ban on marriage for same-gender couples. Join plaintiffs, community leaders and LGBT families for a community gathering in response to this historic decision which will forever alter the course of our fight for equality.
